We hire continuously for direct support roles, so submit a general application below and we will contact you when something suitable opens.
What we offer
Orientation and every mandatory certification — crisis prevention, first aid and CPR, medication administration, abuse prevention — completed on the clock, not in your own time.
Scheduled one-to-one supervision, not a manager you see when something has gone wrong. New staff work under supervision until competency is signed off.
Schedules published in advance so you can plan your life. We do not fill gaps by calling you at 6 a.m. and hoping.
Health and dental coverage for permanent full-time employees after the qualifying period, plus paid vacation and statutory entitlements.
Direct support to team lead to coordinator to management. We promote internally wherever we can, and we tell you what the next step needs.
Support towards relevant qualifications and continuing education for staff committed to the sector.
Confidential counselling and support. This work is demanding, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.
Structured debriefs after serious incidents — for your wellbeing and because they are how practice actually improves.
How we work
If a plan is not working, we say so and change it. If we made a mistake, we report it. A culture that punishes honesty ends up with staff who hide things, and in this sector that is dangerous.
Not as a poster. When a routine suits staff but not a resident, the routine changes.
You will not be handed keys and a shift with someone whose plan you have never read. Person-specific training is completed before you work independently.
Asking is a sign of a good worker, not a weak one. Every shift has a supervisor you can reach.
Hiring process
Submit your résumé through this site. You will get a confirmation with a reference number immediately.
We review every application. Shortlisted candidates are contacted within two weeks — and we reply to everyone, including candidates we are not moving forward with.
A conversation about your experience and approach, plus scenario questions drawn from real situations. Accommodation is available at every stage — just tell us what you need.
Two verified professional references, credential verification, and a Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check. We will guide you through obtaining one if you do not have it.
A written offer, then paid orientation and mandatory training before your first independent shift.
